In conjunction with Jax City Entertainment, Hip Hop Vibe is giving chances to independent artists. With the artists performing in several open mic nights, they will earn several prizes, including rotation on Burdskool Radio. The judges for the event have been revealed to be Be Ea$y Wilson, Nelson Davis, Amelia Devane, and Cognac Gunna.

Cognac Gunna, a native of Chicago, has history in Jacksonville, North Carolina, where the open mic night will take place. The head of Oil Spill Ent., which is based out of the city, Cognac Gunna has performed at most of the local Jacksonville clubs. Back in town, after going on the road for close to a year, Cognac Gunna will be judging.

Given his previous history in Jacksonville, becoming very popular during this time, Cognac Gunna was selected to be a judge at this upcoming event. Hip Hop Vibe’s Open Mic Night, which will be presented by the Orleans House, will take place on October 21.
