After taking a seven year hiatus, Missy Elliott and Timbaland are reunited and working on new music. At the top of their list is the upcoming album from Missy Elliott. Initially, the untitled album was planned for release in 2007. By 2008, the album was named Block Party, as she allowed the fans to vote on the title.

Before the end of 2009, Block Party was scrapped and Missy Elliott went back into her hiatus, only resurfacing for Keyshia Cole’s “Let it Go,” with Lil’ Kim, and her own solo single. Four years after the promotion for her project began, Missy Elliott is back. The landscape of the hip hop game has gone through a dramatic overhaul.

Missy Elliott has been making her media rounds, appearing on “106 & Park” and MTV’s popular web series, “RapFix Live.” Now, Missy Elliott heads over to Hip Hop Nation and she discussed her new singles and her new album.
