At 6’5, 2 Chainz stands as the tallest rapper in hip hop, besting Game by two inches. With height like that, 2 Chainz, like Game, played basketball in high school and nearly chose basketball over rap. However, 2 Chainz would team up with Ludacris, five years after his high school graduation.

2 Chainz rose to fame as Tity Boi of Playaz Circle. The duo, for the most part, was buried on the roster of Ludacris’ DTP. In 2007, Tity Boi and Dolla Boy were allowed into the DTP game and scored a hit with “Duffle Bag Boy,” featuring Lil Wayne. The song performed well, but the duo faded into the background.

Four years later, Tity Boi re-emerged as 2 Chainz and has since teamed up with Kanye West and entered a partnership with Def Jam. Currently the hottest rapper in the game, ESPN reflected on 2 Chainz’ other passion, basketball. Today, ESPN released footage from a 1995 high school basketball game featuring an eighteen year old 2 Chainz.
