All eyes were on Bay Area rapper, Lil B, last spring, as he announced the title of his album would be I’m Gay, as in happy. Lil B was poorly received by both critics and fans because of his album title and also because of his apparent lack of lyricism. While Lil B was critically-panned, many of his peers in the rap game warmly accepted him.

Lil B received co-signs from Lil Wayne and Lupe Fiasco in 2011. Those co-signs served as the motivation for the popular rapper in 2012. Throughout 2012, Lil B has released several mixtapes. Over the past few months, each mixtape has gained a lot of attention. The latest Lil B mixtape, Based Jam, is a nod to Michael Jordan and his film.

After being called a “wack rapper” by Oklahoma City Thunder star, Kevin Durant, on Twitter, Lil B took aim on his Based Jam mixtape. A video was put together and sent to Vlad TV where Lil B calls out Durant, who is only three months removed from losing in the NBA Finals. Lil B takes a little credit for the Miami Heat dominating the young Oklahoma City Thunder.
