Styles P talks new mixtape, death of Chris Lighty, and more with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Not receiving the same type of hype Jadakiss did with Consignment, Styles P is only weeks removed from the release of The Diamond Life Project. Styles P released his last album, Master of Ceremonies, in 2011. Since then, Styles P has returned to the mixtape scene, releasing several songs.

Back in New York City, Styles P paid a visit to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.” Over the years, Styles P has gotten used to making his rounds. Styles P has enjoyed the releases of his own solo albums, albums with The L.O.X./D-Block, and with Ruff Ryders. Sixteen years have passed since Styles P’s initial label deal.

During his conversation with “The Breakfast Club,” Styles P promoted his latest mixtape, which was released back in August. Given his history in the game, Styles P was also asked about the death of Chris Lighty. Over the span of his career, Lighty worked with many of the biggest people in the game, primarily those in the New York area.
