Slaughterhouse premieres “Throw it Away” music video with Swizz Beatz [VIDEO]

Separately, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9, and Crooked I were four of the biggest independent artists in the game. Joe Budden had returned to the mixtape scene, after facing several delays for his sophomore album with Def Jam. Releasing several Mood Muzik mixtapes, Joe Budden found much success on the mixtape level.

Meanwhile, Joell Ortiz had signed with Aftermath Entertainment after releasing his debut album through his deal with Koch Records (now eOne Music). While on Aftermath Entertainment, Joell Ortiz found himself facing several delays. With so much going on at the label and Game’s unexpected reunion with Dr. Dre, Ortiz left the label.

Crooked I and Royce Da 5’9 also had indpendent success. The foursome came together and are now preparing their welcome to: OUR House album. With the album in the works, Slaughterhouse continues to deliver popular music. Among the people working with Slaughterhouse is Swizz Beatz. The legendary producer teamed up with the group on their “Throw it Away” single, which the music video was released earlier today.
