Chicago has returned to the forefront of hip hop and a lot of the credit goes Chief Keef, who was signed by Interscope Records this spring. Chief Keef was making a name for himself, working with Soulja Boy. With the Soulja Boy co-sign, Chief Keef released his breakout hit single, “I Don’t Like,” early in the spring of 2012.

Chief Keef has emerged as one of the biggest new artists in hip hop. After Chief Keef emerged successful with “I Don’t Like,” Kanye West remixed the song. Kanye West would add Pusha T, Big Sean, and Jadakiss to the song. While Young Chop, the producer of the song, had issues with the remix, Chief Keef love it.

Earlier this month, Fader released photos of Chief Keef from their interview with him. Today, the footage of Chief Keef’s Fader interview was released. Chief Keef discussed his rise in the rap game. The young rapper also spoke on if he felt he would ever become famous.
