Before the Maybach Music takeover, which took place this summer, Maybach Music Latino was holding MMG down. One of the biggest players on the Maybach Music roster for the first half of 2012 was AG Cubano. The Bay Area rapper has been with Maybach Music Latino for some time, spending two years working on his Power Trip mixtape.
Power Trip was released back in the spring and was met with positive reviews. In addition to features from the Maybach Music Latino crew, Young Breed also made an appearance. Guest verses outside the label came from N.O.R.E., among others. During an interview with Hip Hop Vibe, AG Cubano revealed his next mixtape, Power Move, was already in the works.
With Power Move already being in the opening stages, AG Cubano has invited the cameras to go with him as he records his next project. AG Cubano has sent Hip Hop Vibe this video via Twitter.
