For close to two years, there has been much discussion about a potential NWA biopic. As the discussion has been ongoing, there has been a lot of talk about who will play the roles in the film. Eazy-E’s children had conflicting opinions on how the roles should be cast, as Lil’ Eazy-E feels he should have the role of Eazy by default, while his daughter thinks everyone should audition.
Dr. Dre soon revealed his involvement in the film and he expressed interest in having former NWA member, Ice Cube involved. While Dr. Dre honed his skills as a label executive and producer, Ice Cube focused more on the films. After starring in the dramatic, Boyz N The Hood, Ice Cube created his highly-popular Friday series and even produced his own sitcom.
As for the NWA film, Dr. Dre recently tweeted a photo of him and F. Gary Gray on the set of the new movie.
