A couple years ago, there was much momentum surrounding Vado, as he was thought to be the next big artist from New York City. Cam’ron began working with the young rapper when he split from Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. The Diplomats split in 2007 and Cam’ron returned in 2009 with Vado by his side.

Late in the summer of 2009, Cam’ron reunited with his former crew and added Vado to the crew. Joining The Diplomats helped turn Vado into one of the biggest mixtape rappers in New York City. After releasing a joint album with Cam’ron, Vado released his own debut album in the fall of 2010.

In the time since then, Vado has taken a back seat, appearing on a large amount of new mixtapes. After taking a break, only releasing singles and music videos, Vado is coming back. Recently, Vado revealed, via Twitter, he would release a new mixtape next month.
