For close to two decades, Swizz Beatz has been one of the most-popular figures in hip hop, as he runs the legendary Ruff Ryders brand in addition to his own Full Surface label. Through the two labels, Swizz Beatz has delivered a number of stars. Among the stars Swizz Beatz has had the chance to help grow include DMX, Eve, The L.O.X. (Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch), Cassidy, Drag-On, and many more.

In addition to his track record as a record executive, Swizz Beatz has also been one of the top producers in the game. Many of the biggest hit singles from Jay-Z, DMX, Nas, and many others during the 1990s were produced by Swizz Beatz. During the late 1990s, Swizz Beatz had become one of the biggest producers in the game. However, his dominance carried over well into the first decade of the 2000s, before his hiatus.

Swizz Beatz has made a strong comeback, working with Nas on Life is Good, among other projects he has in the works. During his hiatus, Bangladesh has risen to become a popular producer. The biggest hits to his name come on tracks performed by Lil Wayne. Earlier today, Bangladesh released a statement and in the statement he referred to Swizz Beatz as irrelevant, music-wise. Because of his marriage to Alicia Keys, Bangladesh said he was relevant, but stated he needs to get back to making hits to get his music name back. These comments have been noticed, as Swizz Beatz responded via Twitter.
