Those who have been following Rick Ross should not be surprised that he is on top of the charts. Close to two years ago, Rick Ross announced his work on what would be the biggest album of the year and his career. Teflon Don elevated Rick Ross, turning him into one of the most popular rappers in the game.

During the break between albums, Rick Ross was able to turn himself into one of hip hop’s most successful moguls. Overnight, Maybach Music went from being the home for Gunplay, Young Breed, and Torch to being full of superstars. After two successful compilation albums and everyone rising to fame, Rick Ross returned.

Exactly one week ago, Rick Ross released God Forgives, I Don’t, officially establishing himself as a force in the game. The official charts were released earlier today and Rick Ross was on top.
