One recurring story from Rick Ross’ 2009 feud is “Freeway” Ricky Ross, the notorious drug lord from Los Angeles. During the 2008-2009 period, much attention was given to Rick Ross’ past as a correctional officer. Also, it became common knowledge of how Rick Ross’ name was influenced by “Freeway.”
In 2010, “Freeway” Ricky Ross was freed from prison and he gained the immediate support of 50 Cent. With his feud with Rick Ross turning into a series of pranks, this prank has become a headache for the Maybach Music leader. So far, all of the attempts from “Freeway” Ricky Ross to punish Rick Ross have failed.
Currently suing Rick Ross, this time aiming for an overall percentage of the profits generated from Maybach Music, the courts have ordered “Freeway” Rick Ross to pay $500,000 of Rick Ross’ legal fees. Meanwhile, Rick Ross is to pay $800,000. Initially, “Freeway” Ricky Ross was ordered to pay over $1 million in court fees, but he negotiated down.
Regardless of the cost, “Freeway” Ricky Ross told AllHipHop.com he was not going to end his fight against Rick Ross.
