Given the hype surrounding Rick Ross and Maybach Music over the past year, everyone has expected the crew to come out strong. As promised, the veterans of the rap game heated things up in July. Nas’ resurgence propelled him to the top of the charts with Life is Good. His album boasted a performance from Rick Ross.

Nas has been on top of the rap game, sales-wise, since Life is Goodwas released. Now, it seems as if he is going to be dethroned. As previously stated, few actually believed the long-awaited God Forgives, I Don’t would not be a commercial success. Rick Ross had this vision long before he released the album.

Rick Ross’ new album is projected to debut on Billboard at number one. The sales are expected to be higher than his previous album, Teflon Don, which debuted at number two and sold 176,000 copies in its first week. God Forgives, I Don’t is expected to debut at number one with 200 to 220,000 copies sold in it’s first week.
