Crack City DVD has been on the move, working with Swizz Beatz and A$AP Rocky over the past few months. In recent months, Crack City DVD has heavily focused on New York City. This focus could not have come at a better time, either. New York City is well on its way to returning to prominence in the rap game.

One of the original hip hop street DVD series, Crack City DVD had a hand in breaking many of hip hop’s biggest stars. Though, the DVD concept has become oversaturated, Crack City DVD continues to leave an impression. Doing what few DVDs do, they have put together a TV series, broadcasting in the DMV area, “Real Rap.”

Several new stars are emerging, as French Montana has risen, followed by A$AP Rocky, and others include Jus Daze, Cliff Po, and Denzil Porter. However, the veterans are continuing to make noise. Maino released his album, The Day After Tomorrow, earlier this year and he is still promoting the project. “Real Rap” captures Maino making this push on their opening episode.

Recently, Crack City DVD featured Maino in the first episode of the “Real Rap” television series. The new TV show will broadcast in Washington, DC and Maryland and footage of rap battles and models will be captured.
