Two days from now, Rick Ross will officially cement himself as hip hop’s top rapper, in terms of popularity. For those who do not know, July 31 is when Rick Ross will release God Forgives, I Don’t, his long-awaited fifth album. Since the Maybach Music press conference, Rick Ross has been preparing fans for his new album.
Rick Ross immediately began releasing new music, first “Touch’N You” with Usher and then featuring on Usher’s “Lemme See.” The Self Made 2 album also came, along with the release of “So Sophisticated” with Meek Mill, along with the video. With a few singles out, Rick Ross has placed emphasis on “Hold Me Back.”
Teaming up with MTV, Rick Ross went to New Orleans to film the music video. The song has been met with positive reviews. With the music video set to premiere on MTV2 on “Sucker Free,” anticipation was built. This morning, all eyes were on MTV2, as Rick Ross premiered the music video.
