Last summer, Cleveland rapper, Machine Gun Kelly was signed by Diddy to Bad Boy Records. The signing was the first in a spree of additions to Bad Boy Records. Previously, Diddy had revealed he wanted to focus on his record label. Bad Boy Records added Machine Gun Kelly and The Bronx rapper, French Montana, to their roster.

Both rappers were already popular on the mixtape level, thus bringing more interest into the overall label of Bad Boy Records. Ten days ago, French Montana was supposed to cap off his impressive run with the release of his debut album, Excuse My French. However, the album was delayed, offsetting the dominance New York City was to have on July 17.

Still, Bad Boy Records has more in store, as Machine Gun Kelly is working on his Lace Up debut album, which will soon be released. Machine Gun Kelly recently spoke to Vlad TV about his upcoming project. The Cleveland rapper announced collaborations with DMX, Tech N9ne, Twista, Bun B, and more.
