For three years, the hip hop world has gotten to know Drake. Aside from being one of the biggest hitmakers in the game, Drake is known for other various actions. This year, Drake has shown he is not afraid of battling. Drake rang in the New Year feuding with Common and recently got into a fight with Chris Brown in a New York City night club.
Early last year, Drake caused a bit of controversy when he proclaimed himself as the world’s most-famous Jew. Drake was raised as a Jew, practicing the religion, which was heavily portrayed in his music video for “HYFR.” Despite the minor controversy, Drake managed to still leave with his reputation in tact.
Drake has gained popularity because of his ability to rap and sing. Over a decade ago, Ja Rule ushered this trend into the game. Years after his decline, many other rappers have used this style. Previously, Drake has been credited for having a good singing voice, along with B.o.B., J. Cole, and others. Today, however, Drake took credit for being the first rapper to be good and doing both, perfecting the craft.
