Ace Hood release official artwork for “Body Bag, Vol. 2”

At Cash Money Records, the job is never done, as Birdman is looking to have a diverse roster of talent. The year started off with the additions of Busta Rhymes and the legendary Mystikal, who began his comeback run. Before the end of winter, the label had also added rock group, Limp Bizkit.

DJ Khaled signed a solo deal with Cash Money Records in 2009, meanwhile his own record label, We the Best, remained under Def Jam. Ace Hood was the first artist signed to We the Best and had minimal success. During the summer of 2011, his career hit a new peak.

Birdman was able to bring the entire We the Best label to Cash Money as a subsidiary earlier this year. Through this deal, Ace Hood was transferred from Def Jam to the ever-popular YMCMB. Now, Ace Hood is on the same label as Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, and Mystikal, only naming a few.

His first release under his new label is to be the Body Bag, Vol. 2 mixtape, which will be released on August 17. With his new mixtape on the way, Ace Hood unveiled the artwork earlier today.
