50 Cent enters business of boxing promotion

Eventually, 50 Cent proved there was more to him than met the eye. When he first burst onto the scene, 50 Cent was portrayed as hip hop’s new villain, immediately ousting Ja Rule from the spotlight. However, after Ja Rule’s run was effectively over, the spotlight was handed to 50 Cent, thus making him the protagonist.

50 Cent has maintained his tough guy persona, feuding with Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Nas, and Game, only naming a few, but he also proved to be a smart businessman. The kid from Queens was able to use his music to build an empire. Every endorsement deal he landed turned into a new business venture for 50 Cent.

For years, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. have been best friends. 50 Cent can be found at almost every fight. Many felt it would only be a matter of time before the two made it official and 50 Cent became his promoter. Earlier today, 50 Cent revealed his TMT (Team Money Team) promotional company was launched and licensed in New York and he is filing in Nevada.
