From day one, everyone knew Rick Ross was able to talk big. Now, Rick Ross has made it clear his actions are much bigger than his talk. Everything Rick Ross set out to do, he has done, using everything as inspiration. After releasing Teflon Don, Rick Ross shifted his focus to the continued development of Maybach Music, recruitng Wiz Khalifa.
Wiz Khalifa considered Maybach Music before he decided to sign with Atlantic Records. Rick Ross used this as inspiration, as he added Wale, Meek Mill, DJ Scream, Stalley, and many others to his label in 2011. The growth of Maybach Music has continued in 2012, as Rick Ross added Omarion and Rockie Fresh.
As he prepares to release God Forgives, I Don’t, Rick Ross finds himself the most-popular rapper in the game and the leader of hip hop’s leading label. When he called into Power 106 in Los Angeles last night, to talk to Big Boy, Rick Ross spoke on this and more. The conversation also centered around Rick Ross’ “3 Kings” track with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.
