Soulja Boy was critically-panned for his “sub-par” lyrics, but praised for his strong business mind. Before the age of eighteen, Soulja Boy had already become a millionaire.
Soulja Boy soon began working with many other big names. Bow Wow became a “frienemy” of the young rapper, as the two engaged in a high-profile feud. Soon, Soulja Boy proved to be a controversial figure in hip hop. Among statements made by Soulja Boy included him blaming Nas for the decline of hip hop, despite his legendary status.
Despite the role he has portrayed, Soulja Boy has remained a popular hip hop figure. Recently, he landed in more hot water. TMZ recently obtained footage of Soulja Boy crashing his red Bentley into oncoming traffic. After causing the accident, Soulja Boy blamed the other driver and now her husband is speaking out.
