Fans have been waiting for Nas to return with new solo music for some time. After making the fans wait four years, Nas has delivered new music. Life is Good was initially due a year ago, but was delayed until this year. Next month, Nas will release his tenth studio album, which has already been met with strong reviews, thus far.
Nas has become the most-popular rapper from New York City over the past two months. New leaders, such as A$AP Rocky and French Montana dominated earlier in the year. But, Nas has been appearing all over television, radio, and internet. Being recruited for records by younger artists, Nas has stepped out of his comfort zone and completed records.
Recently, Nas has worked with Young Money’s Tyga and Nicki Minaj. In addition to collaborating with Nicki Minaj, Nas also was featured in her “Right By My Side” music video, which features Chris Brown on the song. During Nas’ interview with Tim Westwood, he spoke on Nicki Minaj’s ongoing issues with Hot 97 over Summer Jam 2012, his new album, Life is Good, and more.
