Read the entire interview below:

So, you were born and raised in Nebraska? Yes I was.

What was it like growing up in Nebraska? It was fun as a child, I would be bored out my mind now.

What lessons did you learn during this developmental period? That nothing comes overnight; I had to put my all into everything I decided to pursue.

When did you decide to move away and was Atlanta your first choice? I was fourteen and forced to move by my mother when she made her decision to leave. I believe this was her first choice.

What is the biggest difference between Atlanta and Nebraska? Nebraska is very slow in everything (fashion, music, slang) and Atlanta, as they call it “Black Hollywood” has a lot of opportunities, events and networking.

How has being in Atlanta been a positive influence on your career? There are so many models that want the same thing that I do, I have to always stay on top of my game.

Have you met many encouraging people who have helped you in your career? Not at this time.

Because you are an ambitious female, have you run into anyone who feels your gender will not allow you to reach your goals? NO, I get nothing but positive feedback from male and female.

What type of impact do you want to have on the young girls from around the world? A positive impact. Never give up, always strive for better.

How do you feel the young girls who currently know you feel about you and all that you do? A lot of them tell me that they look up to me. I feel as I have a great impact on a lot of their lives in some way.
