In a vastly different hip hop world than the late 1990s, Jadakiss has proven to have the longevity many lacked. Though Jadakiss was always met with critical acclaim, his commercial success was limited. 50 Cent taunted Jadakiss over this during their feud, which started over his Ja Rule collaboration, which ironically helped Ja Rule regain a street audience.

Since that collaboration and his 2004 album,Kiss of Death, Jadakiss has been in the spotlight more than ever. Though three years have passed since he released a new album, Jadakiss remains a big name. In the eyes of many, Jadakiss and Nas are currently the biggest New York rappers in the game. Jadakiss’ worth has shown itself over the past few months.

Later this year, Jadakiss plans to make bigger news when he reunites the Ruff Ryders at the Rock the Bells 2012. Jadakiss will reunite with his crew, The L.O.X., alongside DMX, Eve, Drag-On, and Swizz Beatz. When he spoke with XXL, Jadakiss explained how he often performs with Styles P and Sheek Louch, but he is looking forward to performing with Eve again. Jadakiss went on to state he has not performed with the Ruff Ryders since the Cash Money tour, so he is very excited about reuniting.
