Much like Los Angeles last year, New York City hip hop has been enjoying a strong comeback run in 2012. Many new faces have emerged as stars, while the veterans are also enjoying comebacks, namely Nas and Jadakiss. It seems as if July is the month for New York hip hop, as many releases are on the way.
Nas, 50 Cent, Chinx Drugz, Prodigy, and French Montana are among the New York rappers releasing new projects. However, DJ Symphony will also have a new project in the works. DJ Symphony is currently putting together his Off the Block, Vol. mixtape, which will feature Raekwon, Styles P, Cam’ron, and 50 Cent, among others.
DJ Symphony has plans of also dominating the summer of 2012. With many other projects being released in July, DJ Symphony feels it is only right for him to release his project in July. Specifically, DJ Symphony will release his Off the Block, Vol. 1 on July 20.
