One of the primary reasons New York City is in the middle of a major comeback is because of the talent coming out of Harlem. Among the rappers making moves from the area is A$AP Rocky, 9 Milly, Teyana Taylor, Cliff Po, and Azealia Banks. Out of the mentioned rappers, Azealia Banks has built a bigger name for herself through beef.
Throughout the early months of 2012, Azealia Banks has made a lot of news through her disses, aimed at Iggy Azalea. Signed to Grand Hustle, Iggy Azalea has become one of the biggest new names in the game. Azealia Banks accused Iggy Azalea of stealing her style and taking her name, something her camp took offense too.
The feud between Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea spilled over and T.I. was brought into the issue. Azealia Banks posted a Twitter rant about Tip and also began throwing insults at Lil’ Kim. Recently, Azealia Banks made a Twitter post, stating how she was done with rap music, as she has gotten into too many Twitter beefs. Saying she never truly was a rapper, Azealia Banks said she is deleting her Twitter and considering the end of her rap career.
Azealia Banks has since deleted her Twitter account.
