Last year, hip hop fans enjoyed the emergence of several new hip hop artists from Los Angeles. The new wave of West Coast hip hop artists was led by Kendrick Lamar. Hailing from the same Compton as the legendary Dr. Dre, NWA, and current hip hop king, Game, Kendrick Lamar gained national fame. It was an incredible year for K. Dot, who also released his successful album, Section.80.

Signed to independent record label, Top Dawg Entertainment, Kendrick Lamar caught the attention of fellow Compton native, Dr. Dre. Kendrick Lamar recently spoke with Wild 94.9 about his work with both Dr. Dre and his rhyming partner, Snoop Dogg. Aside from his work with fellow West Coast hip hop artists, Kendrick Lamar is also working with another sensation, J. Cole.

Kendrick Lamar also discussed his favorite female hip hop artists and spoke on sex secrets. After speaking on his relationships with the females, Kendrick Lamar spoke on his upcoming collaboration with Maybach Music’s Meek Mill. Recently, Kendrick Lamar worked with fellow Maybach Music star, Gunplay, on the song, “Cartoons & Cereal.”
