Turning himself into one of the most-important men in the industry, Swizz Beatz had a hand in building DMX into one of the biggest stars in the game. During this period of time, he also became a coveted producer and executive.
Swizz Beatz revamped Ruff Ryders and established a distribution deal with Interscope Records, introducing such stars as Eve and Drag-On. Being signed to Interscope Records placed Ruff Ryders on the same label as Dr. Dre, Eminem, and others. After spending over twenty years in the game, Swizz Beatz still remains one of the biggest names in the game.
