For many years, Lil Wayne was a standalone rap artist, especially after the members of his group, Hot Boyz, left Cash Money Records. Without his former partners in crime, Lil Wayne still rose to the top of the game. At a time when no one could imagine Lil Wayne with a crew, he added Drake, who immediately became his right-hand man.

Over the past three years, Lil Wayne and Drake have risen to become one of hip hop’s most entertaining duos. The two are so entertaining, many love to watch them perform live, as Imperial Entertainment Group knew when they paid $400,000 to book the two rappers in 2011. However, Lil Wayne and Drake failed to show up, leading to IEG filing a lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and Drake are refusing to pay the $400,000 because they were booked by a company who was not authorized to do so. Lil Wayne and Drake are fighting to have the case dismissed.
