Friendly competition is prominent in the rap game, even when it boils down to the DJs. Nearly a decade ago, DJ Drama was considered to be the biggest DJ in the game. When Lil Wayne began his barrage of mixtape releases, he turned to DJ Drama for hosting. But, DJ Khaled soon took over the game, becoming the most-popular DJ.

DJ Khaled’s success went far beyond the turntables, landing him an executive role with Def Jam, which he recently vacated. While DJ Khaled was breaking records, DJ Drama was working on different projects. Last fall, DJ Drama returned and is now giving DJ Khaled a good run for his money as hip hop’s go-to DJ. With both focused on unity, they have worked together.

DJ Drama has been all over the place, especially with him working with 50 Cent. His most-recent stop led him to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” where he spoke on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” working with 50 Cent, and many other topics.
