From the looks of things, 50 Cent has a new right hand man in DJ Drama. Though he has hosted a number of high profile mixtapes, none have brought him the type of publicity his project with 50 Cent has. Initially due in 2008, 50 Cent linked up with DJ Drama to complete the project in 2012.
The Lost Tape is officially due for release on May 22, but 50 Cent and DJ Drama had the entire mixtape played on Hot 97 during Funkmaster Flex’s show. The two have made their media rounds throughout New York City, discussing the tape. Now, it appears as if the duo has something bigger in the works.
50 Cent and DJ Drama’s most recent conversation was with DJ Enuff. Always searching for new business opportunities, 50 Cent said he and DJ Drama want to create their own mixtape series. Perhaps the two could link up and revive the G-Unit Radio series?
