Earlier in his career, 50 Cent began feuding with many different rappers. At the time, his immense popularity allowed him to go after anyone without much backlash. 50 Cent would soon learn popularity does not last forever, as his spot was taken by Lil Wayne. Once Lil Wayne began to assume his role as a key player in the game, 50 Cent began dissing the young veteran rapper.
In recent years, 50 Cent has appeared much calmer than he was during those early years of his career. During his bully days in the rap game, 50 Cent used to start feuds with rappers and promise they would never end. But, when he befriended former rival, Jadakiss, he began to soften, later ending his feud with Cam’ron and calling him a “good guy.”
50 Cent has gone back and forth with his issues with Lil Wayne for five years, recently not having anything to say about him as he forged a working relationship with Eminem. During the second part of his first interview with his own site, ThisIs50.com, 50 Cent revealed he may soon end up working with Lil Wayne. In 2007, Lil Wayne famously collaborated with Ja Rule, as the two have a history together.
