Having defied all the odds, T.I. has regained his position in the rap game, though some may argue Tip is no longer the king of the South. While his title may deserve to go to Rick Ross, there is no denying the element T.I. brings back to the game. Two prison sentences in as many years led to fans being without T.I. for the better part of two years. Now that he is back, T.I. has promised to not disappoint.

T.I. has released a flurry of singles, a couple of mixtapes, and has collaborated with many of the new stars in the game. With his buzz back, T.I. has been making his media rounds, stopping by Hot 97 for two interviews. During his visit to New York City, T.I. also spoke with DJ Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg. The two were interested in his opinions overall, with so much going on.

Despite the way many rappers portray themselves in front of the camera, many actually support gay marriage, or are impartial. T.I. has been socially aware throughout his career and has appeared to be for equal rights, for the most part. Given his history with Meek Mill, initially signing him to Grand Hustle Records, DJ Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg also wanted to know how he feels about his former artist having success with Maybach Music. But, what most likely would like to know is about Azealia Banks dissing T.I. a little over a week ago.

T.I. discussed all of that and more with Hot 97’s “Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg.”
