A dream come true for most hip hop was fans watching a film which depicted the life of slain hip hop icon, The Notorious B.I.G. Though the film was also met with complaints from those who personally knew B.I.G., it has still become a cult classic. Most importantly, it has inspired the production of bio-pics for other hip hop artists.
Snow on the Bluff is the name of the upcoming bio-pic for Ol’ Dirty Bastard, the deceased member of Wu-Tang Clan. The lead role was been given to Michael K. Williams, perhaps best-known for his role on HBO’s “The Wire.” Williams has previously discussed his role in the film and said it takes a lot of knowledge about ODB to properly play the role.
Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” recently spoke with Michael K. Williams and he spoke on playing the role of ODB in the upcoming film.
