The hard work of the young emcee proved beneficial for his entire label, as Interscope Records inked an exclusive distribution deal with Top Dawg Entertainment.
Kendrick Lamar is the flagship artist for the label, which also boasts ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, but is also signed to Aftermath Entertainment. Through the Interscope deal, K. Dot was officially added to Dr. Dre’s label, via joint venture. With his longtime label and hip hop’s doctor behind him, Kendrick Lamar is preparing to rise to the top. Kendrick Lamar still has a little work to do, but is well on his way.
