With the delays behind him, Big K.R.I.T. is ready to finally release his debut album, Live From the Underground. In less than a month, Big K.R.I.T. will release his long-awaited album. For well over a year, fans have been waiting for the Mississippi native to deliver new music.

Last night, Big K.R.I.T. held a listening session in New York City, previewing the songs from his album. Going from being a rising rapper in Mississippi to being one of the most-revered new artists in the game is a dream come true for K.R.I.T. In 2010, he signed a deal with Def Jam.

As he prepares to make the major jump, DJ Booth caught up with Big K.R.I.T. at last night’s listening session. During the interview, Big K.R.I.T. discussed his new album, his Country Cousins mixtape, and working with B.B. King.
