When he was finally given a chance, Big Sean did not disappoint. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper helped prove Kanye West’s ear for talent, as the first rapper to become famous under his watch. An integral part of the G.O.O.D. Music roster, Big Sean is heavily involved in the group album. Big Sean was the only artist from the label releasing new music last year, with the exception of Kanye West’s joint album with Jay-Z.

Big Sean is preparing to follow up his rookie year with an incredible sophomore run, with his new album set for a fall release date. Before fans have a chance to hear the new Big Sean opus, they will hear a number of other records from him. Recently, Big Sean opened up to Joey Franchize of Hot 93.7 about the new music and the ongoing moves at G.O.O.D. Music. Days after Kanye West announced the addition of 2 Chainz, Teyana Taylor was signed.

2 Chainz said nothing with the label was official, but he has continued to remain in the mix with the label. Big Sean also explained the 2 Chainz affiliation with G.O.O.D. Music in addition to updating fans on the Kanye West film which is said to be in the works. Back on his solo music, Big Sean has proven to have strong chemistry with Meek Mill, of Maybach Music, as the two came together for his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape. Big Sean revealed he will have Meek Mill on his next single, which will be released this month, but did not state if it was from his upcoming mixtape or album.
