Exactly one week after the Maybach Music press conference, Meek Mill has taken over the internet with his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape and Rick Ross continues to dominate. As MMG continues to release mixtapes, they are preparing to release their next round of solo albums, follow-ups to last year’s work. Rick Ross and Meek Mill plan to dominate the summer with their solo albums.

Rick Ross has associated his Maybach Music brand with money and power, fitting perfectly with his “boss” persona. However, no boss is beneath giving back to the community. The current Maybach Music all-stars will soon be taking their act on the road. Rick Ross has teamed up with Lenny “The Barber” Hansen for an event in Atlantic City. A charitable event, many other big names will perform.

“MMG Invasion” is the name of the event, which will be headlined by Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Other slated performers include French Montana, Future, and Travis Porter. The event will be held on May 11 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and the proceeds from the show will benefit the New Jersey-based charity, Team Hope. Speaking on the goal of the showcase, Lenny “The Barber” said the goal is to inject a sense of hope into the hip hop community and give young fans the desire to prosper.
