AllHipHop.com recently caught up with Scarface, who is in the process of completing his first album in four years, Rooted. Out of the spotlight for four years, Scarface has big things in the works. Among the things Scarface has in the works is his first-ever performance in New York City at S.O.B.’s, which is sponsored by AllHipHop.com, among others.
Scarface is keeping himself busy, as he also has a joint album in the works with Philadelphia rapper, Beanie Sigel. Five years have passed since Beanie Sigel last released an album and he has a new label deal to go along with his comeback. The two were label-mates at Def Jam in the early 2000s, Scarface with Def Jam South and Beanie Sigel with Roc-A-Fella Records.
Performing at S.O.B.’s for the first time and his first New York City solo performance is an honor for Scarface, as he told AllHipHop.com. Acknowledging how tough the audience is in the Big Apple, Scarface spoke on how much love he receives. Scarface said he cannot wait to actually perform in New York City.
Also asked about his upcoming album, Rooted, Scarface said he has some of the biggest records of his career on the way.
