For months, Chief Keef’s buzz has been increasing, as he continues to flood the internet with new music. One of the most-recent releases from Chief Keef was “I Don’t Like,” which was well-received by fans. Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, which is currently preparing to release an album, is building their own buzz. The entire G.O.O.D. Music, and Jadakiss, jumped on the “I Don’t Like” single, calling it the “G.O.O.D. Music remix.”
Because Kanye West and company remixed the song, Chief Keef went from having music featured on various hip hop media outlets, to being the topic of discussion on hip hop media outlets. Chief Keef was now exposed to the majority of hip hop fans and was catching the attention of everyone. Cash Money Records boss, Birdman, even said he was doing all he could to add Chief Keef to the label.
Everyone was pleased with G.O.O.D. Music remixing Chief Keef’s song, with the exception of the original producer, Young Chop. The young producer was upset because Kanye West did not reach out to him and he made his feelings publicly known. Following a few days of being upset with Kanye West, Young Chop revealed in a recent radio interview that Kanye West reached out to him and he no longer harbors hard feelings towards the Chicago legend.
