The life Jay-Z has led is one many only dream of. Coming from the bottom, growing up poor in the ghetto of Brooklyn, New York in the 1980s, Jay-Z achieved fame and great fortune in the mid-1990s. Along the way, Jay-Z has romanced many high-profile women, most-notably lead singer of Destiny’s Child, Beyonce.
Morphing from being a rapper to being a super-mogul, the only thing Jay-Z lacked in his life was an offspring. To achieve this goal, he turned to Beyonce and she gave birth to his first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Finally a father, following several rumors of he and Beyonce conceiving, and even rumors of him fathering children with other women, Jay-Z had a child.
During an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z opened up on what it is like to be a father, explaining his relationship with Blue Ivy Carter. With Blue Ivy still an infant, Jay-Z is looking towards the future with his daughter. Jay-Z said she will grow up one of the most-spoiled little girls in the world.
