Erick Sermon discusses Adam “MCA” Yauch with “The Source” [VIDEO]

News of the death of the Beastie Boys’ co-founder, Adam “MCA” Yauch, has spread across the internet. Since his death, many of those who knew MCA have discussed his life and the impact he has had on the game. Rev Run, of Run-DMC, earlier spoke on MCA’s death and also LL Cool J spoke on his death.

The Beastie Boys and Run-DMC are two of the most-revered hip hop groups in history, but there are many others. Another crew considered legendary in hip hop is EPMD, though they are a generation behind The Beastie Boys and Run-DMC. Undoubetdly, EPMD was influenced by those groups, and others.

Outside of EPMD, Erick Sermon established himself as one of the most-respected emcees in the history of hip hop. Recently, Erick Sermon spoke with The Source about the death of Adam “MCA” Yauch.
