It seems every day Cash Money Records is signing a new artist. Birdman has proven to be one of the most-popular hip hop executives in the game. Over the past few years, Birdman turned Cash Money Records from a dying legacy into hip hop’s new home for rap stars. Bow Wow, Drake, Busta Rhymes, and Mystikal are among the artists who have been signed to the label over the past few years.

Each time Cash Money Records makes a major signing, Birdman always says he is scouting for more artists. The latest signing from Cash Money Records was not the addition of a new artist, instead it was the addition of an enitre label. In 2010, DJ Khaled signed with Cash Money Records and Birdman was interested in adding his enitre We the Best label to the Cash Money roster.

Two years after adding DJ Khaled to Cash Money Records, Birdman finally moved the entire We the Best label, including Ace Hood to his label. Now, Cash Money Records truly boasts a roster filled with stars, as the likes of Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Glasses Malone are label-mates with Ace Hood, Mavado, Rum, and others. But, Birdman told MTV News he was not yet done, as he wants to add Chief Keef also.
