Recently, Jadakiss caught up with DJ Whoo Kid over at Shade 45 to discuss a number of topics. Rarely out of the headlines, Jadakiss made news with the recent release of Consignment, the last mixtape before he releases his next album, Top 5 Dead or Alive. Jadakiss has a renewed focus on his music, lending his vocals to a number of tracks.
Frequently stepping out of his comfort zone, Jadakiss teamed up with G.O.O.D. Music on the remix of rising rapper, Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” single. In recent months, many rappers who many would not expect to team up have been. While they were once label-mates, there were not many who though of the possibility of Kanye West and Jadakiss working together, but they are.
When Jadakiss spoke with DJ Whoo Kid, his Consignment release, along with his work with G.O.O.D. Music were hot topics. However, the conversation shifted to Jay-Z and 50 Cent, two rappers Jadakiss has battled in the past. Since feuding with both rappers, Jadakiss has built strong relationships with them and he discussed a conversation they (two rappers who have also had issues) had.
