Nas reveals release date for “Life is Good”

Last year, Nas released a new single, “Nasty.” With three years passing since the last album released from Nas, fans were excited. A few weeks later, Nas revealed he was working on a new studio album, Life is Good. Nas began making media rounds, discussing his upcoming album with several media outlets.

However, following the summer of 2011, there was not much discussion about Nas’ new album. In an interview, speaking on the new album, Nas revealed the title of the album may not be Life is Good. At the end, there was no new album from Nas. Many forgot about the buzz Nas had built during the early months of 2011.

Earlier this year, Nas released his second single, “The Don.” Discussion about Life is Good began again earlier in the year. Since the release of “The Don,” Nas has been all over the news, speaking on the new song and the album. Now, Nas has revealed a release date of July 17 for his album, making it a good day for New York hip hop, as French Montana is set to release Excuse My French the same day.
