Long before Nicki Minaj released Roman Reloaded, the team she chose was winning. Like in sports and other forms of competition, fans begin to hate the best team when they continue to win. Cash Money Records is still on top of the rap game and are facing a backlash because of this.
Nicki Minaj had enough last week, when she announced she was deleting her Twitter and “Twittergate” began. Since she left Twitter, Nicki Minaj has been making a number of media rounds and she has been asked about a return to Twitter every step of the way. Early on, Nicki Minaj said she would eventually return to Twitter. But, in later interviews, Nicki Minaj has said she does not see herself returning to Twitter any time soon.
Many have felt the negative reaction to Roman Reloaded, which has been dubbed “pop” by most critics led to Nicki Minaj deleting her Twitter. Nicki Minaj recently spoke with Capital FM and she explained exactly why she decided to remove herself from Twitter.
