Recently, Ma$e returned to the headlines when a photo surfaced of Ma$e in the studio with French Montana, Rick Ross, and DJ Khaled. Ma$e has attempted to stage comebacks previously, experiencing a bit of success in 2004, but was rejected in 2009. Back then, Ma$e revealed he was working with French Montana.

Given his history, there are several theories of why Ma$e is trying to come back. Ma$e has attempted to stage comebacks in the past, working with the most-popular artists of the time. Following his 2004 comeback, Ma$e came close to joining G-Unit. This time around, Ma$e has aligned himself with Rick Ross and Maybach Music.

According to TMZ, there could be another reason why Ma$e is returning to the studio. A recent report from TMZ revealed Ma$e owes $124,774.85 in back taxes. It has been stated that Ma$e owes back taxes from 2000, 2001, and 2004.
