One year ago, it seemed as if the longtime wait for Detox was almost over, as Dr. Dre had two singles out, one of which, “I Need a Doctor,” had made the top five on Billboard. During this time, there were also rumors of a feud going on between Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. For years, 50 Cent had choice words for Dr. Dre, regarding his slow work and Dr. Dre has feuded with his affiliates in the past, namely Tupac Shakur.

When Tupac Shakur was murdered, the rappers who had issues with him let them pass, as Tupac did. Dr. Dre has been one of the go-to guys in regards of getting exclusive Tupac information and to work with old recordings of Tupac. Because of this, many were not surprised Dr. Dre was involved with the hologram, which brought Tupac back to life.

Speaking with TMZ, Dr. Dre spoke on the hologram, saying his people are working on turning the image into a 3-D image, as opposed to a two-dimensional one. Dr. Dre said his team is working on developing a full-figured image and is considering taking the revamped Tupac Shakur on tour with him.
