C-Bo calls out Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for Tupac Shakur hologram

Given all the theories about Tupac Shakur’s death and the number of people who feel he is still alive somewhere, the hologram performance at Coachella 2012 was incredible. The hologram, which Dr. Dre helped design, was met with critical acclaim. Of course, Tupac Shakur returned to headlines when he was resurrected to perform. Even Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother, approved of the performance.

C-Bo, a member of Tupac Shakur’s Outlawz is not impressed, however. Many felt Afeni Shakur’s approval would be hard to come by and when she said she liked it, many were surprised. With a blessing from Tupac’s mom, no one expected his crew to be upset. During his interview with HipHopDX.com, C-Bo called Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg “vultures” for still using Tupac years after his death.

A number of rappers have tried to adopt Tupac Shakur’s style and use it for their own gain. Others simply used Tupac’s unreleased verses to gain publicity for their own singles. This is one reason why no new album has come from Tupac Shakur since 2006. C-Bo was one of Tupac’s closest affiliates, though they did not spend much time together, due to him being in prison, which he says may have saved his own life.
